VARIG, TAM, Air France and Lufthansa have connecting flights to Sao Paulo International Airport. You can then transfer to the Domestic Airport in Sao Paulo, and fly on to Porto Seguro. From Porto Seguro, simply take a cab to Trancoso
(50 minutes distance).
